Position Overview
It also works closely with end users to evaluate system efficiencies and potential defects to determine workarounds. The position is also responsible for departmental reporting.
Required Responsibilities
- Develops and refines processes and procedures to improve business functions and workflows.
- Troubleshoots and addresses software issues reported by users, identifying defects and creating workarounds as needed to resolve end-user challenges.
- Conducts user acceptance testing to ensure new systems and updates meet business requirements.
- Leads policy and program development for planning, product development, and implementation.
- Collaborates across departments to ensure the implementation of effective and efficient processes and systems.
- Maintains relationships with vendors related to system integrations and ensure seamless communication.
- Participates in development and planning meetings.
- Plans priority issues or enhancements with claims business and IT.
- Oversees and ensures compliance with ISO and Medicare standards and regulations.
- Prepares and compiles internal and external reports for various stakeholders.
