You'll start by learning the ins and outs of store operations focusing heavily on customer experience, sales, and service advisor responsibilities with the goal of moving into a leadership role within 6 months. Show us the right attitude, energy, and commitment, and you could be placed in the next available Assistant Manager, Service Manager, or Store Manager position that becomes available.
Responsibilities of an Automotive Retail Manager In Training include :
Work alongside service advisors and store leadership to understand daily operationsProvide outstanding customer service and support sales efforts on the front line. Deliver an excellent experience for all guests and make buying from the company simple, reliable and accommodating.Learn key operational skills, including scheduling, repair order flow, and technician workload managementGet hands-on experience with inventory control, point-of-sale systems, and store performance metricsShadow leaders and take on increasing responsibility each week as you prepare for advancementDemonstrate initiative, integrity, and a strong work ethic as you grow into your roleManage multiple tasks with attention to detail in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentCommunicate clearly and confidently with teammates and customers alikeApply your knowledge of tires, tire-related products, and basic mechanical services to support daily store needsProvide a safe, functional facility for team members and guests, and present a professional image to all visitorsResponsible for performing in the key individual performance categories. Possess a College degree and 1 year of management experience (shift manager for retail or service industry)Or, 3 years of automotive experience with 1 year of management experienceOr, 3 years management experience (shift manager for retail or service industry)Or, 2 years in a lead role or supervisory positionBe energetic, hard-working, and ethicalUnderstand and follow company strategies and policiesPossess a valid Driver's License and must be insurable under our automobile insurance.Be physically able to lift 70 lbs. and endure continuous crouching, bending, and turning.Why This Program Rocks
