About The Position

Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner - North Carolina, Coastal PRN Shifts

PRN Emergency Medicine coverage in North Carolina near Nags Head with no call and scenic coastal surroundings.

Highlights

  • No call; shifts only, no follow-up
  • Pick your shifts; day, swing, or night options
  • Credentialing in ~60 days for recent ED experience

Practice Setting

  • 24-hour ED with full lab, imaging, and air / ground transfer
  • Onsite specialty consults : ortho, cardiology, surgery
  • Established team of 6 MDs and 3 APPs
  • Epic EMR
  • Schedule

  • 12-hour shifts : 7a-7p, 12p-12a, 7p-7a
  • PRN through November and December; grouped shifts available
  • Great for those seeking holiday or coastal work blocks
  • Cases and Procedures

  • Treat all ages : pediatric to geriatric
  • No ICU or critical care duties
  • Must respond to emergency codes
  • Requirements

  • Board Certified FNP or ANP with recent ED experience
  • Active North Carolina license
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA) and DEA required
  • Travel Accommodations
