Job Description
We are seeking an eager team player for our Millwright Sr for our Kingland, GA location. Responsibilities include but not limited to performing a wide variety of skilled general maintenance, repair, and modification of machinery and mechanical equipment. Performs preventative maintenance on equipment and mechanical systems. Examination of mechanical equipment to diagnose potential future problems. Assembles and installs mechanical equipment and systems, following drawings, blueprints, and general instructions. May provide leadership to junior personnel.

Responsibilities
Maintain and repair building and process equipment including distillation stills, general evaporating equipment, Pot Stills, cooling towers, salt towers, cookers, pumps, HVAC, and boilersPerforms preventative maintenance, conducts inspections, troubleshoots, diagnoses failures & deficiencies & performs necessary correctionsTroubleshoot and repair support equipmentGuide Mechanics in their responsibilityLOTO (lock out tag out)Pump & piping installsEnsures, understands, and has ownership for area specific permit required compliance standards.Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment.Performs other assignments as assigned by management.Keeps within Compliance StandardsCompletes and maintains all service, parts / inventory records in a timely & accurate manner.Completes daily checklist as required for proper operation of maintenance being performed.Assures daily maintenance duties performed and communicates any problems or issues with the unit immediately upon discoveryReviews all applicable SOPs, and complete all mandatory Company and job specific training.Completes and submits all associated paperwork as required for tracking PM schedules.Conducts Safety Checks & Annual InspectionsFamiliar with electricsWhat does it take to work at Synergy?
HS Diploma or equivalent3-5+ years maintenance experience in a plant or Industrial environment preferred3+ years' excellent experience troubleshooting various pumps, as well as repair / rebuild and align pumps with motorsBe able to identify the difference between a positive displacement pump and a centrifugal or a vacuum pump.Plant maintenance experience in one of the following areas : Preventative Maintenance, Installations, variety of pumps, and blowersFamiliar with pressure temperature flow and level instrumentation, distillation stills, general evaporating equipment, pot stills, cooling towers, salt towers, cookers, pumps, HVAC, and boilers a plus!Familiar with 480v and 3-phaseStrong troubleshooting skillsWilling and eager to learnGreat team player who can follow direction and take initiativeChange direction as needed based on priorities and updates dailyAbility to meet physical demands of the position, including movements such as lifting, bending, reaching, climbing, and the manipulating and handling of objects and lifting up to 50lbsSynergy , a Safety-Kleen company and part of the Clean Harbors Subsidiary’s has a commitment to excellence deeply rooted in a strong sense of tradition.
