Key duties include executing business strategies, managing staff, ensuring sales and profit objectives, managing vendor relationships, and controlling inventory. A strong background in restaurant management with PandL accountability and focus on customer satisfaction is typically required.
Primary Responsibilities
- Business Operations : Generate and execute business plans for the travel center and restaurant facilities to meet sales and profit targets.
- Customer Experience : Ensure customer expectations are met by fostering a customer-focused culture and providing excellent customer service.
- Team Management : Build, coach, manage, and develop staff by handling hiring, interviewing, and training to create high-performing teams.
- Financial Management : Monitor and manage the stores profit and loss (PandL) and track inventory to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize losses.
- Vendor Relations : Maintain effective and positive relationships with vendors to support the facility operations and supply chain.
- Safety and Compliance : Maintain a safe work environment for both customers and employees and ensure adherence to company security and cash control procedures.
Required Skills
Management Experience : Minimum of 2-3 years of management experience in a high-volume retail, restaurant, grocery, or service environment, often with PandL accountability.Financial Acumen : Ability to understand and perform PandL analysis.Leadership : Strong leadership skills to build, develop, and motivate teams.Customer Focus : Proven ability to create and maintain a customer-focused culture.Flexibility : Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.Technical Skills : Proficiency in POS systems (like Trendar POS), cash handling, and inventory management practices.
