Your Role at Pura :

  • At Pura, our technology stack is the engine that powers our customer experience.
  • To ensure this engine runs at peak performance, we are seeking a strategic and hands-on Business Systems Administrator to own the technical configuration and optimization for our core business tools.
  • This is a high-impact, technical role for someone who thinks holistically about systems architecture.
  • You will be the central technical owner of our business application ecosystem, responsible for translating the operational needs of our Customer Care, Marketing,application ecosystem, responsible for translating the operational needs of our Customer Care, Marketing, and Product / Engineering teams into robust and scalable system configurations.
  • You will help us inspire a belief in the power of fragrance to craft and elevate memorable moments for our Owners.

What You’ll Own :

  • System Configuration & Implementation : Own the end-to-end technical execution of enhancements for our core business applications (Segment, Braze, Shopify, Loop Returns, Kustomer, Mavenoid, TalkDesk).
  • Translate detailed requirements from stakeholders into specific system configurations and new workflows.
  • Request Triage & Technical Support :

  • Act as the central point for all inbound system change requests.
  • You will be responsible for the intake and prioritization of these requests, performing technical impact analysis to understand how changes to one system will affect the entire stack.
  • System Maintenance & Optimization :

  • Proactively monitor the health and improvement of the toolset.
  • Identify and execute on opportunities to reduce technical debt, improve data cleanliness, increase automation, and minimize system downtime.
  • Expert-Level Troubleshooting :

  • Serve as the subject matter expert and escalation point for complex  Stakeholder Partnership : Build strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across Customer Care, Lifecycle & Marketing, and Product / Engineering.
  • Act as a technical advisor, consulting with them on system capabilities and best practices to achieve their goals.
  • Technical Documentation :

  • Create and maintain robust documentation of system Technical Skills : A basic level of technical proficiency is essential for managing and configuring our modern tool stack.
  • The ideal candidate will have some familiarity with the following :

  • Web Fundamentals (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Liquid) : For writing insert functions and transformations, custom cards in Kustomer and Mavenoid, and other tasks.
  • SQL :

  • For pulling ad-hoc data, building audience segments, and validating analytics.
  • APIs and JSON :

  • A core understanding of how to read API documentation, structure a basic API call, and work with JSON payloads to connect our systems.
  • React :

  • Basic familiarity with component-based Qualifications : 4-6+ years of experience in a role such as a Systems Administrator, Application Owner, or a similar technical position with a focus on managing and developing a suite of SaaS applications.
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements from various departments into technical solutions and well-scoped projects.
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills, with experience managing a backlog of technical requests from multiple stakeholders.
  • A holistic systems thinker with demonstrated experience performing impact analysis across an interconnected stack of tools.
  • Exceptional technical aptitude and problem-solving skills; you are comfortable deep-diving into complex issues and architecting robust solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to act as a consultant to stakeholders and clearly articulate the trade-offs and benefits of different technical approaches.
