Job description5+ years of software engineering experience. Strong familiarity with Android components and app development. Product design intuition and user empathy. Overview
With the growth of our Android appthe most used text?to?speech app in the Play Storewe need a Senior Android Engineer to support our expanding user base and drive new, impact?ful projects.
Responsibilities
- Own major features and collaborate closely with design to deliver high?quality user experiences.
- Shape the future of the Android team through strategic decisions and technical leadership.
- Maintain and improve reliability metrics for key features.
- Participate in cross?team discussions across Product, Design, and Engineering.
- Review pull requests and support teammates in code quality and design.
- Handle critical issues and adapt to unexpected challenges.
- Take ownership of feature releases and provide nightly builds for QA.
