What You’ll Do

As a Respite DSP , you’ll provide meaningful care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities throughout Palm Beach County — helping them build skills, stay active, and experience joy in a safe and supportive environment.

Your day-to-day impact will include :

Providing in-home, center-based, and community-based respite care.

Assisting with activities of daily living such as feeding, dressing, toileting, and recreation.

Engaging clients in enriching activities tailored to their individual needs and interests.

Ensuring the safety and well-being of clients at all times.

Maintaining accurate records and open communication with families and supervisors.

Collaborating with the Respite Manager and team to plan and implement structured activities.

What You Bring

High School Diploma or equivalent (some college preferred)

At least one year of experience working with neurodiverse individuals or providing direct care

Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

A caring and patient attitude, with the ability to work well with families and teammates

A valid Florida Driver’s License and proof of auto insurance
