Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) - Progressive Care Unit\n\nLocation : Rochester, MI 48307\n\nDuration : 3 Months+ contract (Possible Extension)\n\nSchedule Notes : 7 pm - 7 : 30 am.\n\nJob Summary : \n

• Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.\n
• Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.\n
• Effectively communicates pertinent patient / family information to health care team.\n
• Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.\n\nEducation : \n
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.\n\nPreferred Education : \n
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).\n\nRequired Certification & Licensure : \n
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.\n
• BLS\n
• ACLS\n\nSkills : \n
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit / department to which staff is assigned.\n
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.\n
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.\n\nSchedule Notes : \n
• Telemetry experience required\n
• Minimum of 2 years of experience, 1 Year Cerner experience\n
• This is a Medical, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Float position\n
• They may also be floated to care for ED holds when needed\n\nHours Per Week : 36.00\n\nHours Per Day : 12.00\n\nDays Per Week : 3.00
