The Greater Kansas City Community Foundation is Growing!
Join one of the nation's most respected leaders in charitable giving, The Greater Kansas City Community Foundation and our national entity, Greater Horizons, as a Philanthropic Advisor. If you thrive in a role where you build trust, foster relationships, and operate behind the scenes - connecting people and resources - this opportunity is for you! You'll meet donors where they are, supporting them on their philanthropic journey with expertise, discretion, and care.
Are you passionate about helping individuals and families make meaningful philanthropic decisions?
Through a commitment to exceptional service, this trusted partner supports high-net-worth donors, families, and their advisors in meaningful philanthropic engagement. By anticipating client needs and providing strategic, collaborative solutions tailored to each donor, you will simplify and enhance charitable giving through donor-advised funds and other charitable vehicles. Managing a portfolio of philanthropic clients and collaborating with wealth managers, attorneys, and grantees, you will enable donors to thoughtfully organize their giving and ensure it reflects their values.
Working directly with donors on legacy planning and developing thoughtful giving strategies, you will support donors nationwide in organizing and enhancing their philanthropic impact in the communities they care about.
This full-time, exempt position reports to the Vice President of Philanthropic Services and is based in our Kansas City office, with local travel and hybrid flexibility after a successful training period.
