Associate Therapist (AMFT, APCC, ACSW)

Required Credential : AMFT / APCC / ACSW

Pay Range : $42.50 per session

Employment Type : Per-Diem

Schedule : Mondays (1 pm & 2 pm) or Wednesdays (1 pm & 2 pm)

Requirements : Must be licensed as an associate-level therapist (AMFT, APCC, ACSW) with a valid searchable credential on the DCA website

Company Overview : We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced clinician to join our team.

Job Description : As a Substance Use Disorder / Mental Health Associate Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care to our clients at various behavioral health facilities. Responsibilities include conducting individual counseling sessions, providing medication management support, and ensuring the well-being and progress of each client.

Responsibilities :

  • Facilitate group counseling sessions for individuals with Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and Mental Health (MH) challenges.
  • Document services in EMR within a timely manner
  • Collaborate with the treatment team for coordinated care.
  • Monitor clients' progress and report concerns to the clinical supervisor.
  • Create a safe and supportive environment for clients.

Requirements :

  • At Minimum, the candidate must be registered with the BBS as an associate-level therapist (AMFT, APCC, ACSW)
  • Licensed therapists, such as LMFT or similar (LPCC or LCSW), are also encouraged to apply
  • Strong empathy, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience in addiction treatment and mental health services.
  • Familiarity with EMR system is an advantage.
  • Empathy and understanding of the unique challenges faced by individuals.

    • Demographic of Clients : The facilitator will primarily work with individuals dealing with Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and Mental Health (MH) issues.
