About the Role A shift Teel Court (working 7am-3pm)

The Controls Automation Technician is responsible for the design and build of automated equipment controls with accurate documentation (schematics and panel layout.) Work with the engineering department with a specific focus on electrical controls, PLC and robotic integration. Support maintenance department from a machine controls perspective. Identifies repetitive failures and implements controls-based improvement plans with the help of engineering and / or operations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

• Builds, installs and maintains automation equipment.
• Assists Engineering / operations with automated equipment implementation.
• Schedules Maintenance to repair or rebuild equipment that is planned.
• Conducts reactive maintenance to repair unexpected breakdowns.
• Supports existing equipment from a controls perspective.
• Input detailed and accurate data into computerized maintenance management system.
• Maintains housekeeping, safety and environmental to ensure a healthy, clean and safe work environment.
• Additional projects as assigned by supervisor.
