Job Description

What We Offer :

The Polysomnographic Technologist obtains polysomnograph recordings and performs all technical duties related to the polysomnograph evaluation of sleep disorders.

  • Schedule : Tues, Wed, and Thurs; 7a-7p
  • No Holidays
  • Weekends are voluntary if there is a need.

What We're Looking For :

  • Education : High School Diploma or GED, required.
  • Experience :  Minimum of two years of experience in a sleep center, required.
  • Licensure / Certification :  Registered Polysomnographic Technologist, required.
  • Additional Skills (required) :  Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing; good communication skills, medical terminology, previous experience with computers, manual dexterity and the capacity to deal with visual concepts; initiative and judgment to proceed with work without constant supervision; high degree of patience and understanding in dealing with unusual situations; ability to work flexible nighttime schedule; basic ECG recognition; general understanding of the concepts of polysomnography.
