Physical Therapist – LTC / SNF - Travel Position

Location : Walla Walla, WA

Job Type : Travel Contract

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 3x12s Days

Pay : $2,175 / week

Job Description :

We are seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist to join a skilled nursing and long-term care facility in Walla Walla, WA, on a travel contract. The Physical Therapist will evaluate residents, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapy services aimed at restoring mobility, improving strength, and promoting independence. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, adaptable, and experienced in geriatric rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess functional abilities, mobility, and therapy needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in coordination with physicians and interdisciplinary staff.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions including gait training, strengthening, balance activities, and mobility exercises.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy goals, safe practices, and use of assistive equipment.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes accurately and in compliance with facility standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and patient-centered care.
• Promote safety, independence, and overall quality of life through evidence-based therapy practices.
