License : Valid State License required or a compact license

Must-Have : Wound care and wrap experience

Description :

The nurse will work in a surgical and wound care center.

Duties include assisting providers with follow-up appointments, wound care, and patient teaching.

Responsibilities involve trauma surgery, hyperbaric evaluations, managing lymphedema, venous ulcers, arterial ulcers, pressure ulcers, dressing changes, wound measurements, wound pictures, and wound vac changes.

The job does not require on-call, weekend, or holiday shifts.

Familiarity with EPIC charting is necessary.

The position is from Monday to Friday, 08 : 30 to 17 : 00.

This is a teaching hospital and a level I trauma center.

Orientation is 40 hours.

Applicants should wear navy scrubs.
