Gibson Arnold & Associates is seeking an attorney with 4+ years of experience to join a firm in Denver, CO as an Employment Litigation Attorney. The ideal candidate for this position will be experienced with:
- Handling all phases of employment litigation, including case assessment, discovery, motion practice, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation;
- Representing clients in federal and state courts, as well as before administrative agencies (e.g., EEOC, state labor agencies);
- Drafting and responding to pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and position statements;
- Conducting and defending depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts;
- Defending employers in single plaintiff cases and representative action;
- Providing counsel to employers on employment‑related issues, including discrimination, harassment, wage and hour compliance, accommodation, discipline, and termination;
- Assisting with risk‑management strategies and provide preventative advice to reduce litigation exposure;
- Participating in mediations, arbitrations, and settlement conferences;
- Maintaining strong client relationships through proactive communication and strategic guidance;
- Collaborating with partners and colleagues on case strategy, business development, and firm initiatives.
