NEW Micro / Molecular Medical Technologist – 2nd Shift

Location : Providence, RI area

Department : Molecular / Microbiology

Type : Full-time, Permanent

Hiring an ASCP-certified Medical Technologist for a 2nd shift role in the Molecular / Microbiology department of a respected clinical lab in the Providence area. This position offers a consistent evening schedule and excellent career growth.

Schedule :

Monday–Friday : 4 : 00 PM–11 : 30 PM

Rotating weekends and holidays

Key Responsibilities :

Conduct molecular / microbiology testing in accordance with lab protocols

Ensure accurate data reporting and maintain lab documentation

Perform instrument maintenance and quality control procedures

Communicate effectively with clinical and laboratory staff

Qualifications :

ASCP certification (required)

Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or similar

Experience in a clinical lab environment preferred

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work evenings independently
