We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician for a

• duel in shop
• and
• field-based
• position. While shop work is required, this position involves traveling to job sites and performing hands-on field electrical work, commissioning, and troubleshooting. Candidates must be comfortable working independently in the field and representing the company professionally at customer locations.

• Responsibilities

Duties include :

Performing field wiring, inspections, troubleshooting, equipment repairs, and system startups.

Executing commissioning tasks for both hardwired and automated systems.

Testing and verifying electrical systems involving PLCs, VFDs, sensors, and various field instruments.

Setting up, programming, implementing, and troubleshooting VFDs and Allen-Bradley PLC systems (Studio 5000).

Diagnosing issues involving I / O modules, components, communication networks, and resolving alarms and system faults.

Preparing accurate and professional field reports.

Shop work

Responsibilities

in-house work includes :

Building and wiring :

Electrical hardwired panels

PLC panels

VFD panels

MCC panels

Operator control panels

Electrical kits

Wiring motors, switches, sensors, actuators, and instrumentation.

Mounting electrical systems and components to equipment.

Performing electrical testing and troubleshooting in the shop when needed.

Qualifications

Journeyman Electrician certification.

Ability to read and interpret wiring schematics and electrical diagrams.

Understanding of basic ladder logic.

Strong experience with VFDs, PLCs, Allen-Bradley systems, and Studio 5000.

Strong troubleshooting and system diagnostic skills.

Excellent communication skills and a professional, customer-facing demeanor.

Ability to work independently and conduct oneself with professionalism both in the field and in the shop.

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : $32.00 per hour

Expected hours : 40 per week
