Associate Coordinator, Service Projects

Key Accountabilities :

  • Support, track and process labor summaries, parts, tooling, and accounting reports for the Large Engine Services team
  • Compile, prepare and submit warranty claims on behalf of the department
  • Compile, prepare and submit service invoices for the department
  • Support tracking and reporting of department's warranty requests and policy review, administration, part returns for failure analysis, fast field reports (FFRs) and FiRe platforms
  • Assist Service Managers, Coordinators and Management with the implementation, coordination and execution of Corrective Actions in the Field
  • Assist in the reduction of Work-in-Progress (WIP) working frequently with controlling, Service Managers and Coordinators to rectify and mitigate financial issues
  • Follow up on open warranty and WIP items / requests with the appropriate personnel in the US and / or Germany
  • Provide financial data and support analysis, revenue projections and controlling reporting
  • Produce data for parts quotes and facilitate ordering as needed for the team
  • Provide support and review of direct government reman / rebuild and new parts contracts
  • Actively maintain records of parts ordered, status and location
  • Develop proficiency with SAP, MS5, PAS CATS and TSHEETS
  • Support the submission process and tracking of invoices in IPP and WAWF
  • Support and Assist Service Managers in the writing of project reports for warranty submittal
  • Assist with inventory checks and correct discrepancy of special tools and parts for all locations of TXNG
  • Process and track Service Managers' requests for Internal Orders, Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders
  • Create and maintain project folders on shared drive for document retention
  • Promote a compliance and safety culture in area of responsibility, and live the letter and the spirit of the Rolls Royce Code of Conduct
  • Perform special assignments as required

Basic Requirements :

  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S without sponsorship. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Automotive or Engineering Technology
  • Willingness to travel, domestic and international as needed (up to 20%)
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Strong ability to manage concurrent tasks and bring projects to completion
  • Good personal drive with can-do attitude, and the ability to work extended periods without supervision
  • Good organizational, planning and follow-up skills
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with others
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Good ability to cope with frequent schedule and priority changes
  • Proficient with PC and MS Office Suite
  • Practical service experience with internal combustion engines
  • Knowledge of Warranty claims process
  • Knowledge of Government Contracts
  • Knowledge with SAP, MS5, PS3, PAS, C4S
  • Knowledge of MTU products and processes
  • Knowledge of Marine Diesel Engines, associated products, and Marine policies and procedures
