DEPARTMENT : Printing & Communications Support

REPORTS TO : Manager, Printing & Communications Support

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Operates departmental equipment such as electronic digital color presses, high speed digital copies, collators, folders, binders, power drills, cutters, etc.
• Creates design and layout of a job using the appropriate software.
• Copies, prints, and distributes printed materials including exams, booklets, pamphlets, etc.
• Uses Colleague to print locally or directs job to another printer on campus.
• Creates and maintains detailed records and reports for billing, daily usage and service calls.
• Provides assistance to department users regarding preparation of materials for copying and finishing.
• Performs light maintenance on equipment as necessary.
• Orders and maintains ample supplies.
• Assists in College mail distributions, including the wrapping of finished materials, as well as the sorting, delivery (by foot and van), pickup, and post marking first-class and interoffice mail.
• Assists with lifting of boxes and bindery functions.
• Performs other duties as assigned that are appropriate to the position.

SCHEDULE : 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7 : 00 a.m. to 4 : 00 p.m.

RETIREMENT : Pension Eligible
