Order Management & Purchasing Specialist

Job Summary

  • Review business order / contract, place PO to UIH group companies / local sourcing.
  • Ensure correct, on-time execution of orders
  • Refill DOA & optional parts for semi knock-down materials / service parts
  • Verify product version / shipping terms / price are correct
  • Coordinate between sales operation / project manager / logistics / production for the order fulfillment process
  • Follow up on any order changes and coordinate internally with logistics / production
  • Maintain standard purchase BOMs for each product to ensure the most updated version
  • Work with HQ for the new products transfer to UIH USA production projects
  • Price check with HQ for semi knock-down materials and maintain the price book, most updated
  • Receive, review, and archive the PO and CBOM from UIHS.
  • Conduct the factory team to review the system configuration before shipping products.
  • Generate the product license according to the work instructions.
  • Manage and maintain all PO / BOMs information to meet FDA / ISO 13485 requirements / UIH QM procedure

Requirements

Education & Background

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, business administration, or a related field.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders.

Required Skills or Attributes

Ability to work with cross-functional teams

PC literate with MS Office applications

Strong sense of urgency and due time

Ability to handle multiple tasks with an awareness of deadlines and responsiveness.

Demonstrated commitment to accuracy and quality while meeting goals or deadlines.

Good communication skills and a strong attention to detail

Referral letter from previous employers if required

Speaking Mandarin is a plus

Working Conditions : Office environment

Ability to work extended hours during peak periods or in response to urgent order / purchase issues.

Magnetic Environment Exposure : This position requires working in an environment where strong magnetic fields may be present. Employees may be exposed to powerful magnets, electromagnetic equipment, or other devices that generate magnetic fields.

This includes, but is not limited to, metal objects such as steel, iron, and other ferrous materials.
