Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide services for a K-12 school serving primarily K-2nd grade students in Angola, IN. This is a contract maternity leave position running from October 6, 2025, to March 1, 2026, with the possibility of renewal depending on need and performance.

Responsibilities include :

Providing speech-language therapy 4-5 days per week, 6-7 hours per day
Managing a caseload of approximately 30 students, primarily mild cases without AAC needs
Conducting 3-4 speech and language evaluations per month on average
Working at two locations approximately one mile apart
Using the Indiana IEP system for documentation
Billing Medicaid through the RELAY system accurately and timely

Qualifications :

SLP certification, either Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)

Eligible candidates with CCC may have a hybrid schedule option, with 1-2 days per week allowed for indirect work

Experience working with young children, ideally K-2nd grade

Familiarity with Medicaid billing and school-based therapy preferred

Strong organizational and communication skills to manage caseload and collaborate with staff

The role requires onsite presence with no remote work option. This opportunity offers valuable school-based experience in a supportive environment with a mostly mild caseload.
