Built on modern infrastructure, the company delivers intuitive trading tools, real-time data, and low-cost access to financial markets. With a mission to democratize investing, they are expanding quickly across international markets.

About the Role

The Finance team plays a critical role in supporting the company's business operations and performance. This Director-level role will work cross-functionally with teams including compliance, operations, and technology. It's a hands-on, high-impact opportunity suited for an experienced accounting leader with fintech or broker-dealer exposure.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the month-end close process, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting
• Prepare regulatory reserve calculations (e.g., customer reserve under 15c3-3, if applicable)
• Ensure accurate P&L and balance sheet records in coordination with operations and other departments
• Maintain strong internal controls and audit readiness (SOX compliance experience a plus)
• Coordinate external audits and assist in the preparation of GAAP-compliant financial statements
• Collaborate with external advisors for tax and regulatory filings
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities
• Serve as a liaison with auditors, tax advisors, and regulators
