This is a temporary position funded for two years with the possibilityofa third year.

Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Sciences or other related field from an accredited college or university
- Substance Use Disorder Professional certification or Certified Prevention Professional
- Graduate level degree in Behavioral Sciences preferred or ESA certification preferred
- Demonstrate case management / record keeping skills
- Demonstrate knowledge in alcohol and / or drug abuse federal confidentiality laws
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of substance abuse assessment, intervention, treatment and recovery process for adolescents and families
- Demonstrate ability to work successfully with children, parents
- Demonstrate ability to work with school staff, including teachers, administrator and non-classified staff
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience in school based student assistance programs
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
