Periodic office meetings will be held. Applicants must have reliable transportation, a current driver's license, and agency-required liability insurance. The average number of patients per day is 5-6. Each type of visit and activity, such as documentation and travel, holds a different point value. Contractors will be assigned between 5-10 patients per day that equate to roughly 6-8 points. Guaranteed hours are not provided; if patient census is low, please reach out to discuss options for floating to a nearby clinic to pick up hours. Types of cases include Start of Care and Follow-Ups. First-time applicants will not be accepted. Weekend requirements vary and should be discussed during the interview. Travelers must be willing to travel up to 75 miles from their assigned clinic. Mileage will be reimbursed at the IRS standard rate. Travel will be compensated from patient home to patient home. The commute to and from the first and last patient is not billable. Local applicants are accepted. Pending licenses will not be accepted unless there is a short delay in acquiring the license. On-call requirements vary and should be discussed with the manager during the interview. Compliance in OASIS and HomeCare HomeBase EMR systems is required. Documentation must be completed within 24 hours of the appointment with the patient. Declining patients may result in cancellation. There are no guaranteed hours with this contract. Clinicians must achieve weekly productivity points of 30, equating to 40 hours per week. All overtime must be pre-approved.
