Parker Jewish Institute Hospice and Home Health Care is seeking Community / Field Registered Nurses to join Parker's Certified Home Health Agency (CHHA).

Parker Jewish Institute Hospice and Home Health Care offers the finest in home health and hospice services from an interdisciplinary team of health care professionals. Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation is a faith-based, not-for-profit health care system comprised of multiple health services servicing the Metropolitan New York Area, including Long Island, Brooklyn, Queens, and Bronx.

The Home Care RN at Parker Jewish Institute's Certified Home Health Agency is re sponsible for establishing standards of care for patients, providing nursing service in the patient's home, assuring compliance based on current regulations, and promoting community health through teaching, counseling and providing direct patient care.

This position requires the full understanding and the active participation in fulfilling the mission of Parker Hospice and Home Care-to deliver exceptional care and to enhance the quality of life of our patients.

Position Qualifications

Current New York State RN license

Prior Community RN or Home Health RN experience is a plus

Access to reliable transportation a must-available to travel within Queens and Nassau Counties

Tech savvy, with proficiency in AllScripts or another electronic medical record (EMR)
