Job description5 or more years of prior offshore crane operating experience. Crane Operator Certification. Stage 3 certification strongly preferred. Previous experience operating Seatrax cranes preferred. Deepwater crane operating on a floating facility experience. Mechanical experience or aptitude. High school diploma or equivalent required. Real ID driver's license or current U.S. passport required.
Deepwater Crane Operator
A Deepwater Crane Operator is responsible for safely operating and maintaining cranes on an offshore procurement platform in the Gulf of Mexico.
Responsibilities
- Operate levers and pedals to control the crane.
- Follow hand signals to raise, lower, and rotate the boom or load.
- Lift and move equipment or material on the platform and between boats in various sea conditions.
- Maintain and clean crane equipment.
- Provide leadership to construction riggers.
- Conduct safety and operation inspections of the crane.
