Job Summary
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be a pivotal leader at Globeia, responsible for overseeing the company's day-to-day operations and ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of our identity verification and background check services. The COO will drive operational excellence, optimize processes, and scale our services to meet growing demand while maintaining the highest standards of security, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership : Lead and manage all operational aspects of Globeia, including service delivery, customer support, and technology integration.
- Process Optimization : Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency, reduce turnaround times, and ensure 100% accuracy in service delivery.
- Strategic Growth : Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute strategies for scaling operations and expanding service offerings in new markets.
- Customer Experience : Champion a customer-centric approach, ensuring that client needs are prioritized and queries are answered promptly, minimizing back-and-forth communication.
- Team Management : Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Technology Integration : Oversee the seamless integration of new technologies and platforms to enhance service delivery and user experience, particularly for police checks and client portals.
- Compliance and Security : Ensure all operations adhere to relevant privacy laws and industry best practices for data protection and security.
- Partnership Management : Work with existing and new partners to leverage the Globeia platform and expand business opportunities.
- Performance Monitoring : Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational efficiency and service quality, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Global Expansion : Establish and expand services in various countries across categories. Identify areas for new areas of expansion.
- International Operations Oversight : Effectively manage operations and teams across multiple international time zones.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a COO or in a senior operational leadership role, preferably within the identity verification, background check, or a related technology-driven service industry.Strong understanding of operational best practices, process improvement methodologies, and quality assurance.Demonstrated ability to scale operations and manage rapid growth.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.Familiarity with data security protocols and privacy regulations.Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.The compensation package for this position will be commensurate with experience, ranging from $100,000 to $150,000 . In addition to a competitive base salary, this role will include meaningful equity in Globeia, offering a direct stake in our success.
We are seeking candidates based on the East Coast, with the option to work remotely or from our Washington D.C. hub. As Globeia achieves business expansion and secures further funding, there will be opportunities for increased compensation and bonuses to reflect the company's growth and individual contributions.
