Occupational Therapist

Job Summary The Occupational Therapist is responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ physical, psychological, and environmental needs. This role focuses on developing and implementing personalized treatment plans to enhance clients’ ability to perform daily activities. The therapist will recommend adaptive equipment, design rehabilitation programs, and collaborate with caregivers to ensure successful outcomes. Continuous professional development and adherence to regulatory standards are essential.\n\nResponsibilities : \nConduct thorough physical and psychological assessments to determine clients’ therapy needs.^Evaluate home and work environments to identify opportunities for adaptive support and increased independence.^Recommend adaptive equipment and train clients and caregivers on proper usage.^Develop and implement rehabilitation programs focused on restoring daily living and work-related skills.^Prepare clients for reintegration into work and daily life with goal-specific strategies.^Educate caregivers and family members on patient care techniques and rehabilitation support.^Monitor and evaluate therapy outcomes, adjusting treatment plans to maximize progress.^Stay informed of technical and clinical advancements in occupational therapy practices.^Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulatory and certification requirements.^Address both physical and basic mental health conditions as part of a holistic care plan.
