Job descriptionA high school diploma or GED equivalent. Experience in building and grounds maintenance preferred. On the job training. Valid driver's license. Must obtain a Gaming License through Colorado. Ability to read, write and understand simple instructions. Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook Knowledge of CMMS is preferred, but willing to train. Ability to use all necessary tools and equipment to perform maintenance functions. Answer all calls promptly and maintain politeness; attention to the needs of team members and guests at all times. Knowledge of OSHA required standards and safety equipment. Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment. All facilities on property. Some confined areas. Expose to hot and cold temperatures. Varied weather conditions, fumes and chemicals used in maintenance. Casino environment
Job Title
Position Summary Responsible for keeping grounds maintained with a clean, neat and orderly appearance. Starting pay is $22.00 per with an additional differential pay of $1.50 per hour for the overnight period. Four ten hour day schedule, base hours 10 pm to 8 am.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for cutting, weeding and edging the grass, raking the leaves and sweeping the parking lots and garages.
- Responsible for planting, removing and relocating plants, flowers, trees and bushes.
- Removing all trash and debris from parking areas and grounds. Emptying trash containers.
- Responsible for ensuring all signs, posts, chain fences are straight and secure.
- Ensure the safety and security of all guests and team members.
- Maintain a pleasant, friendly and welcoming attitude.
- Complete knowledge of all facilities and entertainment available to guests.
- Other duties as assigned.
