Allied Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Cardiovascular Technologist - CV Tech

Job Details :

  • Work Monday through Friday from 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 00 PM (8-hour shifts)
  • On-call requirement from 7 : 30 AM to 3 : 30 PM, working 3 out of 6 weekends
  • Must be available onsite within 30 minutes for call responses
  • May be required to work overtime with little or no notice
  • Care for acute and critical patients
  • XPER / EPIC experience preferred
  • Perform standard and complex cardiovascular diagnostic procedures
  • Work directly with cardiologists in cardiac catheterization laboratory
  • Coordinate daily activities of all CVTs and assist with clinical policies
  • Prepare cardiac cath lab, compile patient information, and manage supplies
  • Operate electronic monitoring equipment for EKG and hemodynamics
  • Function as scrub technician for cardiac pacemakers / defibrillators and interventional procedures
  • Minimum 3 years experience with cardiac catheterization procedures required
  • Previous lead / supervisory experience in cardiac cath lab preferred
  • High school graduate or equivalent plus specialized cardiovascular training required
  • Required certifications : MRT through Texas Medical Board (TMB), ARRT, RCIS or RCES, BLS, PALS, and ACLS (all AHA only)
