Setting : Renal Unit (36-bed unit)

Assignment Type : Travel Nursing – Med / Surg Telemetry RN

Start Date : December 8, 2025

End Date : March 8, 2026

Duration : 13-week contract

Shift : 12 Hour Days (07 : 00-19 : 00)

Hours per Week : 36 (option for 48 hours / week)

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

Holiday Requirement : As needed

Parking : Available

Scrub Colors : Solid Navy

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1,720 - $1,840

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama or Compact State (no temporary licenses accepted)

Associate degree in Nursing required

American Heart Association BLS or Red Cross certification

Minimum 1 year of experience in Med / Surg Telemetry or renal specialty

At least 18 months of overall RN experience preferred

Willingness to float to other units and hospitals as needed

Experience with Meditech EMR preferred

RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality patient care to individuals with acute or chronic kidney disease, including renal replacement therapy

Manage a 1 : 6 nurse-to-patient ratio, focusing on post-hemodialysis and ongoing peritoneal dialysis

Collaborate with nephrologists, family practice providers, and hospitalists for comprehensive clinical support

Float to other units and hospitals as required

Accurately document patient care using Meditech EMR

Support patients and families throughout diagnosis, treatment, and recovery
