  • Job Type : Permanent (Full-Time)
  • Location : Lawrence, MA
  • Service Setting : Community Health Center
  • Coverage Type : Clinical Only
  • Coverage Period : ASAP – Ongoing
  • Clinical Shift Schedule : Days, Full Time
  • On-Call Shift Schedule : As assigned (including backup clinician role)

PATIENT INFORMATION

  • Patient Demographics : Culturally diverse adult population
  • Phone Consults : Yes
  • Case Mix : General internal medicine, routine and emergency treatment

    • FACILITY INFORMATION

  • Office Equipment Available : Standard outpatient setup
  • Specialty Backup Available : Referral network
  • Support Staff Available : Multidisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Reason for Coverage : Permanent staffing need

  • General internal medicine evaluations and treatment
  • Chronic disease management and preventive care

    • JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Licenses : Active Massachusetts medical license
  • Certifications : Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
  • Experience : Residency completion in good standing
  • Other Qualifications :
  • Excellent communication and clinical skills
  • Bilingual English / Spanish required
  • Professionalism and confidentiality in patient care
  • Ability to travel between sites if needed

    • DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide comprehensive and continuing care for adult patients
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
  • Maintain accurate and complete medical records
  • Refer patients as necessary and participate in quality assurance
  • Mentor residents, medical students, and other healthcare learners
  • Represent the center in the community and with external authorities
  • Attend continuing education and training programs
  • Participate in system-wide quality improvement initiatives
