Northrop Grumman's Defense Systems (NGDS) sector is looking for an Intelligence Analysis Manager 2 to lead a team of talented Intel Analysts and ensure quality support to programs, IRADs and new business pursuits in the Weapons Integration & Mission Solutions (WIMS) Business Unit. The location of this position is Wright Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB), OH. The chosen candidate will be working alongside fellow Intel Analysts as we continue to provide support for our DoD customers. The position supports the engineering organization goals for providing people, processes and tools to meet the current and future needs of the programs and technologies within the sector portfolio.

The selected candidate will provide functional leadership to the team in a strong engineering organization, collaborating with peers across multiple organizations. The successful candidate will clearly demonstrate strong leadership skills to achieve sustainable top performance. The candidate will have a track record as an effective communicator and problem solver who is able to develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This candidate will demonstrate a commitment to ethics and integrity, and the capability to innovate while challenging traditional ways of doing business. Demonstrated abilities to build diverse and inclusive teams with high levels of engagement, including mentoring and coaching, are a must.

The selected candidate will also actively participate in activities related to our Intelligence, Systems, Infrastructure, Tools & Enhancements (InSITE) Program as well as other relevant Northrop Grumman Defense Systems programs. The candidate will have a track record as an effective team member with excellent communication and analysis skills. The qualified candidate must have 85% coverage on an existing direct program or qualify for an open Northrop Grumman requisition at WPAFB for an Intel Analysis role. The successful candidate will be authorized for ~15% indirect charging to perform duties associated with this position.

Basic Qualifications :

A high school diploma with 14+ years of relevant experience; OR

Bachelor's Degree with 10+ years of relevant experience; OR

Master's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience

Active Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (SCI) clearance

All Source Intel Analysis experience for the DoD.

Preferred Qualifications :

Previous experience in people and / or technical leadership roles

Intel Analysis experience for the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) or National Space Intelligence Center (NSIC), Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), Air Combat Command (ACC) or Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA).

Experience leading a team in a matrix-like organization

Experience leading teams using Agile processes

Knowledge of AFRL / RI contracting process and procedures

Experience working with multiple subcontractors concurrently

Business development and / or proposal experience

Primary Level Salary Range : $117,500.00 - $176,300.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and / or personal business.
