What You'll Do
- Lead design and development projects for next-generation medical devices, from concept through verification and validation.
- Drive process, system, and methodology improvements that enhance product performance and manufacturability.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to translate requirements into functional, compliant designs.
- Conduct risk assessments, technical studies, and cost analyses to support project planning and execution.
- Ensure compliance with design-control, quality, and regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485, GMP).
- Mentor and guide junior engineers while contributing hands-on technical expertise.
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline (or equivalent experience).4–10 years of experience in medical-device development & manufacturing.Orthopedic medical device experience preferred but not required.Familiarity with design-control documentation, 510(k) submissions, and Lean manufacturing environments.A detail-oriented, creative mindset with a passion for solving complex technical challenges.Seniority level
