The Department of Music at Hofstra University is pleased to invite applications for two Assistant Adjunct Professors in Music Technology for Fall 2025. Hofstra University is located on Long Island near New York City (25 miles east of Manhattan), with its wealth of business, entertainment, and cultural opportunities.
The Hofstra University Department of Music invites applications for two assistant adjunct faculty members to teach MUST 100 course. This course introduces students to the foundational tools and techniques of modern music production, focusing on the two industry-standard digital audio workstations (DAWs) : Logic Pro and Pro Tools. Through hands-on projects, students will develop practical skills in audio recording, editing, mixing, and sound design, while exploring the creative and technical possibilities of both platforms.

Salary and Benefits
Salary / Salary Range : $1,458-$1,711 per credit hour.
