Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a contract position serving K-12 students in a public school district in Lovington, NM. This role involves supporting a caseload of approximately 65-70 students across 1-2 school buildings, with assistance from Assistant SLPs if caseload sizes are higher. The position runs from July 22, 2025, through May 28, 2026, at 37.5 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students following Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Utilize district-provided tools and systems to document progress and maintain records.
- Collaborate with educational and support staff within designated therapy spaces.
- Participate in paid team meetings and adhere to administrative and reporting requirements.
- Support communication with families and multidisciplinary teams to promote student progress.
Qualifications and Experience :
Valid SLP license appropriate for school-based services.Experience working with K-12 populations, preferably in a school setting.Ability to manage a varying caseload with flexibility and organization.Familiarity with IEP systems and educational compliance standards.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Benefits and Perks :
