Locums Maternal-Fetal Medicine Clinic + Call Lubbock, TX (IMLC accepted) Why This Role

Long-term locums assignment with guaranteed monthly coverage
Combination of inpatient, outpatient, and call responsibilities
Strong support staff including RNs, MAs, and office team

Assignment Details

Start Date : 12 / 01 / 2025

End Date : 12 / 31 / 2026

Coverage Type : Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call

Schedule : 1 week per month; weekdays 8a-5p clinic with call; night call 5p-8a; 24-hour weekend call

Patients per Day : 5-8

Call Details : Beeper call, 20-30 minute response, both weekday and weekend coverage

EMR : Epic

Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Maternal-Fetal Medicine (within 5 years of residency if BE)

Active Texas license or IMLC license

Fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine

DEA (TX)

ACLS and BLS

Clean history

Clinical Details

Scope : Consultative and procedural maternal-fetal medicine in inpatient and outpatient settings

Typical Procedures :

Comprehensive management of high-risk pregnancies including hypertensive disorders, diabetes, multiples, placenta complications, and advanced fetal procedures - Ultrasound performance and interpretation (Level II / targeted, echocardiography) - Prenatal diagnostic procedures such as amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling, fetal blood sampling, and intrauterine transfusions Compensation
