Radiology Technician

The Radiology Technician will support a hospital designated as a Stroke Center and Cardiac Center, with a strong orthopedics program that relies on rapid imaging for trauma, neuro, and cardiac protocols; the Radiology Technician will play a key role in door-to-needle and door-to-balloon pathways, portable imaging for emergent cases, and precise studies that guide fracture management and complex orthopedic interventions.

The Radiology Technician will report to an Imaging Manager with guidance from Lead Technologists and collaborate closely with friendly emergency nurses, emergency physicians, neurologists, cardiologists, orthopedic surgeons, hospitalists, respiratory therapists, and pharmacists; the Radiology Technician will perform high-quality exams (including portable X-ray and CT if cross-trained), ensure ALARA and radiation safety practices, maintain equipment readiness, document accurately in PACS/EMR, contribute to throughput and patient flow, and support a diverse, team-first culture focused on clinical excellence and compassionate care.
