LEARNING DESIGNER WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY? Developing, designing and implementing classroom and technology-based training programs to meet organizational / individual needs and requirements. Ensuring the proper preparation, implementation and management of instructional development projects. Contributing to the selection, development and updating of courseware content for web-based or any other media delivery. Evaluating the effectiveness of audiovisual materials to ensure objectives are being accomplished. WHAT WILL YOU DO? Work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues, where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Works on assignments of moderate scope, impact and / or importance. Makes recommendations on new processes, tools and services that can impact multiple projects and other work areas. Makes recommendations on moderately complex issues regarding technical approach for project components. Impact begins to influence department strategy. With limited guidance, works on moderately complex assignments / projects. Regularly exercises independent judgement on matters of significance within defined procedures to determine appropriate actions / approaches. Executes approach by following strategies and processes to accomplish objectives. Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work and general instructions on new assignments. Often determines methods / approach to work / projects and establishes own work priorities and timelines. Collaborates with others on short to medium-term projects within own area of specialization. Identifies areas for possible improvements and proactively addresses problems within scope of responsibility. Independently resolves most issues and makes recommendations on more complex matters, requiring solid analytical skill, training and / or education. Escalates complex problems or out-of-policy issues. WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED Must-Have

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent 3+ years of experience developing and implementing informal and formal learning strategies and projects within a corporate environment. Skills and Knowledge Applied knowledge of instructional design methodologies. Instructional Design certificate preferred. Demonstrates initiative and applies concepts, while exercising effective interpersonal, communication, training, and problem solving skills to optimize team performance. Applies experience, knowledge, skills and practices to perform a variety of assignments. Problem solving, creative thinking, visual design, organization, project management, collaborating with others, team building, team work, deadline-oriented, psychology of learning. Experience in learning industry design / multi-media tools and blended learning experience platforms. Experience in adult learning theory approaches and methods. Experience with instructor-led live and web-based facilitation. Stakeholder engagement; relationship management with key stakeholders, such as bank leadership and subject-matter-experts. Ability to work with minimum supervision. COMPENSATION Starting base salary : $71,869 - $114,797 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and / or commissions.
