Job descriptionProvide patient care in an emergency department within a hospital Perform all lifesaving emergency procedures, including intubation, ventilator management, chest tube insertion, arterial and central line placement Treat all patient age groups, with a primary focus on adult and geriatric populations Work collaboratively with robust specialist backup and coverage Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and workflow Manage high-acuity and high-volume trauma cases, with trauma experience highly preferred Active Physician Assistant license required in Georgia Strong trauma experience highly preferred due to acuity, volume, and setting Candidates must be willing to work night shifts; those unable to work nights will not be considered Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities Bridge employment gaps or transitions between permanent positions by taking on locum assignments, maintaining income and professional engagement during transitional periods.
