What You’ll Do
As a counselor , you’ll :
- Lead dynamic group sessions that blend structure, empathy, and empowerment using CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and trauma-informed frameworks.
- Provide individual counseling that focuses on each client’s strengths, goals, and cultural experiences.
- Facilitate approved curricula for IOP, OP , and occasionally BIP / DUI programs — keeping things engaging, educational, and growth-oriented.
- Conduct intake assessments that help clients feel seen, supported, and motivated from day one.
- Maintain clear, timely documentation that reflects professionalism and clinical excellence.
- Communicate with courts, probation officers, and referral partners to ensure accountability and coordinated care.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary dream team — counselors, peer specialists, case managers, and community partners.
- Respond to crises calmly and compassionately , prioritizing safety and dignity.
- Inspire hope, model resilience , and help clients build lives that feel worth staying sober for.
What You Bring
Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology , or related field (required).Licensed or license-eligible in Florida ( LMHC, LCSW, LMFT ).Experience facilitating group counseling in substance-use or behavioral-health settings.Knowledge of trauma-informed, strengths-based, and evidence-based approaches.The ability to hold space for others with empathy, humor, and professionalism.Strong skills in communication, organization, and documentation.Why You’ll Love Working Here
