Responsibilities
Damage Assessment : Inspect and evaluate water-damaged properties to determine the extent of damage.
Restoration : Perform water extraction, drying, and dehumidification using specialized equipment.
Repair : Assist in repairing structures and restoring properties to pre-damage conditions.
Maintenance : Maintain cleanliness and safety standards at job sites.
Documentation : Record and report damage assessments and restoration processes accurately.
Customer Interaction : Communicate effectively with clients, ensuring they are informed throughout the restoration process.
Requirements
Experience : Previous experience in water damage restoration or a related field is highly desirable, but not required.
Technical Skills : Strong knowledge of water extraction techniques, moisture meter measurements, and equipment operation.
Physical Fitness : Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy equipment and standing for long periods.
Problem Solving : Strong ability to assess damage and determine the best course of action for restoration.
Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
Driver's License : Valid driver's license required as travel to job sites is necessary.
Availability : Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
Certification : IICRC certification in water damage restoration is a plus.
Must be able to pass a background check.
