ESTIMATED PAY RANGE

$65,000 - $75,000, DOE

JOB SUMMARY

As a NVH Systems Engineer in Fargo, ND, you may : use your root cause analysis skills to quickly identify NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) problems using the PIR methodology; interpret complex data from NVH test and simulation, and translate that into effective change through collaboration with design teams; complete concept analysis to ensure designs meet good NVH standards and predict performance in design alternatives; balance dynamic performance with cost, durability, and assembly, and work collaboratively with suppliers and other Applied partners.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Ag & Biosystems or Mechanical Engineering required
• Proficient with SimSolid, Inspire, and / or SimLab
• Familiarity with NVH metrics : Sound Pressure Level (SPL), Sound Quality, and NVH transfer functions
• Basic understanding of Digital Signal Processing
• Proficient in troubleshooting tools and design processes like Fishbones, Fault Trees, 5W+1H, DFMEA, etc.
• Experience with Teamcenter Active Workspace and Visualization
• Basic working knowledge of Creo
• Excellent skills in MS Suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
