Job Summary
We are seeking a Full-Time Occupational Therapist who will conduct therapy sessions and comprehensive evaluations to support students’ access to the educational environment. This includes assessing fine motor skills, sensory processing, visual-motor integration, and functional daily living abilities within the school context. Qualified candidates will enjoy flexible work schedules and all major holidays off.
Responsibilities
Develop and write detailed assessment reports that include targeted, practical recommendations to enhance student participation and independence.They will interpret and analyze students’ functional abilities in relation to their academic and developmental needsProvide consultation services with school personnel.Provide consultation services to parents to support the implementation of strategies and accommodationsMaintain excellent records of patient therapy and progressQualifications
Must hold the required state license for occupational therapyMaster's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or universityPA Certified Occupational TherapistPA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance (Current within 1 year)PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance (Current within 1 year)PA Department of Education Federal Criminal History Report (FBI)Must have Limited Liability Insurance.Strong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent organizational skillsGood attention to detailThe ability to stay positive and compassionate over a long period of time with patients
