What you’ll do : The Project Executive is a position of great responsibility, requiring complete technical knowledge of the construction process with strong focus on quality and client standards. This leader is responsible for project organization, implementation, and completion to the client’s satisfaction—while overseeing a team comprising some if not all of the following : Senior Project Manager, Project Manager, Senior Project Engineer, and Project Engineer. This role will also require Project Management for certain rand

Leverage current and new subcontractor relationships to win workAct as point of contact for client, owner, architect, and project teamResolve discrepancies between client expectations and project realitiesMentor, train, and develop project teams including field and office staffAttend internal staff meetings to ensure projects meet financial and schedule requirementsPerform Senior Project Manager and Project Manager evaluationsMentor project teams and subcontractors to ensure outstanding performanceManage multiple teams and external relationships on simultaneous construction projectsTroubleshoot project hurdles to achieve on-time project deliveryBuild relationships and network to acquire business from new clientsMaster the closing skills required during and after an interviewCollaborate with marketing department to create compelling materials tailored to the clientsAlign with preconstruction department on pre-award detailsEnforce timely close-out process for all teamsAct as PM in specific projects and job sitesPreferred Candidates will also possess the following :
B.S in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management is preferred8+ years experience managing commercial construction projects as a (Senior) Project Manager with a general contractor5+ years experience managing a project team requiredPHYSICAL JOB DEMANDS & WORKING CONDITIONS
This is a full-time role in our Houston, TX office.
