Job Description

Pride Health is hiring an Ophthalmic Assistant to support our client’s medical facility based in Rhinebeck, NY 12572 & Lake Katrine, NY 12449. This is a 3- months assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Name : Ophthalmic Assistant

Location : Rhinebeck, NY 12572 & Lake Katrine, NY 12449

Duration : 3 months Contract (Possibilities of extension)

Payrate : $25-27 / hr. on w2 / Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications.

Schedule : : 8am-5pm (5 days / wk).

Job Responsibilities :

• Provide direct patient care and assist physicians with procedures.
• Perform clinical duties within scope, following standards and protocols.
• Address and communicate patient and family needs promptly.
• Escort patients to exam rooms efficiently.
• Assist with exams, diagnostic procedures, and treatments.
• Take vital signs, perform screenings, and basic lab tests.
• Prepare and send e-prescriptions as instructed.
• Clean, prepare, and process instruments and equipment.
• Label and process specimens for transport and enter orders in EPIC.
