For a limited time MaineHealth is offering sign-on bonuses for Medical Assistants :
0-1 years of experience eligible for $4,000 (full time)
1+ years of experience eligible for $5,000 (full time)
Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time MA position.
Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.
This is a full-time, 36 hour per week position.
Float Medical Assistant
Various Locations, including Regional Sites in Belfast
Are you a flexible and reliable Medical Assistant who enjoys variety in your workday? We're looking for a Float Medical Assistant to join our team! This unique role gives you the opportunity to support multiple practices and care teams, ensuring our patients receive high-quality care wherever the need is greatest.
What you'll do :
Travel between different practice locations, including regional sites in Belfast, as needs arise
Assist providers with patient care, including vital signs, documentation, and clinical support
Prepare patients and exam rooms for visits
Collaborate with diverse teams while maintaining consistency in patient care
Bring adaptability and a positive attitude to each new setting
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
