Salary : $24.00 per hour
All interns will work directly alongside full-time engineers on real, engaging, and impactful projects, providing tangible value to Lunar Outpost products. This internship offers a truly end-to-end experience that promotes collaboration at every stage of autonomous robotic development.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist with requirements development, decomposition, and traceability to ensure customer requirements are satisfied
- Assist with planning and execution of validation and verificationfor customer requirements
- Learn the systems engineering lifecycle through supporting technical teams in the development, documentation, building, testing, and verification of rover subsystems, payloads, and ground systems
- Support test plan development and creation in support of V&V activities
- Support other systems engineering tasks, such as ConOps development, and interface definition between teams
- Support system and lower-level requirements management, including change control, audits, and coordination with other teams
Qualifications :
Pursuing a Bachelors or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related fieldProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work methodically in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentCan effectively demonstrate communication and interpersonal skills, while also excelling in collaboration and teamwork in an interdisciplinary environmentExhibits strong organizational and time management skills under pressure and in stressful situationsFueled by a passion for space exploration and the boundless possibilities beyond our worldDesired Qualifications :
Familiarity with the Systems Engineering ProcessUnderstanding of fundamental test and evaluation processesMid-May (May 18, 2026) to early August (August 7, 2026). Start and end dates are flexible with the intern's school schedule. In-person, Monday - Friday in Arvada, Colorado.
