We are currently accepting applications for an Electrical Engineering Manager at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Watertown and Milton, WI . The position works day shift hours Monday – Friday and requires up to 25% travel outside of WI and 75% within WI sites. The role will report to the Senior Engineering Manager.

JOB SUMMARY : Conceptualize, design, program, troubleshoot and optimize automation control systems and hardware for plant and building operations. Supervise and direct CQC Electrical Engineering Department across all North American sites. Ensure adequate contractor coverage, skills, manpower, and excellence across all sites. Work with integrators to design hardware and software systems for complex control and automation applications. Develop and apply electrical control master plan to all CQC facility electrical systems including automation and power distribution systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Lead team responsible for electrical and controls engineering for all capital projects including greenfield developmentAssign and lead electrical engineering department resources to projects as neededDevelop electrical engineering department personnel’s skillsetConduct performance evaluations and coach personnel development within electrical engineering departmentWrite, revise, review and approve detailed functional specifications for automated control systemsDevelop technology roadmap for CQC automation and electrical projectsWork closely with other engineering disciplines to ensure timely and efficient execution of projectsDesign, draw, review and approve building electrical distribution systems including 480VAC-24VDCProgram automation control systems for plant processes and building automationDirect contractors / vendors on activities related to projectsManage automation related continuous improvement projectsCreate and update electrical schematics for panel building and control system wiringIdentify and order electrical hardware as necessary to support capital projectsSupport daily activities between Wisconsin manufacturing facilitiesTravel domestically to support electrical department personnel and implementation of electrical systems within CQCPerform all tasks assigned by the supervisor, while following all company, safety, and quality policies and proceduresMaintain regular attendance at workQUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor’s degree in electrical-related field preferredMinimum 5 years of supervisory or leadership experienceMinimum 5 years of experience in electrical PLC programming and industrial electrical distribution in a manufacturing environment, preferably food manufacturing.Experience with Siemens hardware and software preferredFluent with UL Standards, NEC Codes (NFPA 70, 70E, and 79)Fluent in AutoCAD Electrical and StandardProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and ProjectMust have a driver’s license and good driving recordEDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :
